Ingredients

  • 2 cups ice (divided)
  • 1½ oz orange juice (freshly squeezed preferred)
  • 1½ oz pineapple juice
  • 1 oz grenadine syrup
  • 1 oz sweetened lime juice
  • 1½ oz dark rum alternative (non-alcoholic)
  • 1½ oz silver rum alternative (non-alcoholic)
  • Optional garnishes: fresh pineapple wedge, fresh orange slice, maraschino cherries

Instructions

  • Prepare your ingredients: Measure out all your juices, grenadine, and rum alternatives. Get 2 cups of ice ready, dividing them as specified.
  • Add to cocktail shaker: Place 1 cup of ice into your cocktail shaker, then add the orange juice, pineapple juice, grenadine, sweetened lime juice, dark rum alternative, and silver rum alternative.
  • Shake vigorously: Secure the shaker lid and shake for 15-20 seconds. This vigorous mixing chills the mix while blending all flavors harmoniously.
  • Prepare glass: Fill a hurricane glass with the remaining 1 cup of ice to keep your punch chilled without diluting the flavors.
  • Strain and pour: Strain the shaken punch into the prepared glass, making sure to keep the ice from the shaker out of the drink for a clean presentation.
  • Garnish and serve: Add a fresh pineapple wedge, orange slice, and a maraschino cherry on top for an inviting look and added aroma.

Notes

Use fresh juices: Fresh orange and pineapple juice dramatically enhance flavor.
Experiment with ratios: Adjust the amounts of sweeteners or rum alternatives to suit your taste.
Store unused ingredients: Keep juices and syrups refrigerated for up to 3-4 days; use non-alcoholic rum alternatives as stated on the bottle.
