Ingredients

  • 4 cups shredded green cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded red cabbage (optional for color)
  • 1 cup garlic dill pickles, finely chopped
  • 1/3 cup pickle juice
  • 1–2 jalapeños, finely diced (adjust heat to preference)
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1/3 cup green onions, sliced
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots (optional)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon green hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon ranch seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon honey or sugar (optional, to balance heat)
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Prepare the dressing: In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, lime juice, green hot sauce, pickle juice, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, smoked paprika, and honey (if using).
  • Prepare the slaw mix: In a large bowl, combine shredded green cabbage, shredded red cabbage (if using), garlic dill pickles, jalapeños, cilantro, green onions, and shredded carrots (if using).
  • Combine: Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss until fully coated.
  • Chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to meld flavors.

Adjust jalapeño quantity for spice level.
