Ingredients

  • 1 box Stove Top stuffing mix (any flavor, typically 6 oz)
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup ketchup, plus extra for topping

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)
  • Lightly grease a baking dish or loaf pan to prevent sticking
  • Combine Stove Top stuffing mix and 1 cup of water in a large bowl
  • Let the stuffing sit for 5 minutes until softened
  • Add ground beef, eggs, and 1/2 cup ketchup to the softened stuffing
  • Mix gently until ingredients are just combined
  • Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and shape into a loaf
  • Smooth the edges of the loaf
  • Spread a thin layer of ketchup over the top for a glaze
  • Bake for 45 to 55 minutes until internal temperature reaches 160°F
