Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef, 80/20 blend
  • 1 large yellow onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon neutral oil (canola or avocado)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, cubed and softened
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, freshly grated
  • 1/4 cup A1 Steak Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup kosher dill pickles, finely diced
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons dill pickle juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (for pickle ranch)

Instructions

  • Heat skillet over medium heat; add oil and caramelized onions. Cook beef in skillet, forming a thin patty. Break into crumbles and drain excess grease. Return onions to skillet. Add smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add cream cheese, cheddar, and A1 sauce; stir until melted and bubbly. Transfer to bowl, top with diced pickles, and let cool. Mix mayonnaise, pickle juice, and dried dill for drizzle. Serve chilled or at room temperature with tortilla chips or crackers.

Notes

Ensure A1 Steak Sauce is alcohol-free. For halal options, verify the brand of ground beef. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Serve with warm corn chips for a contrasting texture.
