Ingredients

  • 16 oz frozen peas, thawed and drained
  • 1/2 cup diced red onion
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1 cup real mayonnaise
  • Salt, to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Thaw frozen peas and drain excess water.
  • Finely dice red onion.
  • In a large bowl, combine peas, red onion, cheddar, mozzarella, and sunflower seeds.
  • Add mayonnaise. Mix thoroughly to coat all ingredients.
  • Season with salt and pepper. Stir to evenly distribute seasonings.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Stir before serving.

Notes

Sunflower seeds replace bacon for a halal-friendly option.
Mayonnaise quantity can be adjusted to taste.
Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days in the refrigerator.
