Ingredients

  • 2 cups Bisquick baking mix
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup 7-Up or lemon-lime soda (cold)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C)
  • Combine sour cream and cold 7-Up until smooth
  • Gradually add Bisquick, stirring gently until dough forms
  • Roll out dough 1/2-inch thick on floured surface
  • Cut biscuits with a cutter and arrange in a 9x9-inch pan with melted butter
  • Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until golden
  • Cool slightly before serving

Notes

Use cold 7-Up for best rise
Avoid over-mixing to keep biscuits tender
