Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups whole milk, cold
  • 5.1-ounce box instant banana cream pudding
  • 8-ounce container whipped topping, thawed
  • 32-count, 16-ounce package Nutter Butter cookies, plus 3-4 extra for garnish
  • 3½-4 cups fresh banana slices (from 3-4 bananas)
  • ¼ cup creamy peanut butter, warmed for drizzling

Instructions

  • Whisk cold whole milk and instant banana cream pudding in a large bowl for 3 minutes until thickened.
  • Fold 4 ounces of whipped topping into the pudding mixture until smooth.
  • Line a 3-quart trifle bowl with 9-10 Nutter Butter cookies.
  • Spread half the banana slices evenly over the cookies.
  • Add half the prepared pudding mixture, spreading gently to preserve layer visibility.
  • Repeat layers: cookies, remaining bananas, and leftover pudding mixture.
  • Top with remaining cookies and banana slices.
  • Spread the 4 ounces of whipped topping over the final banana layer.
  • Chill for at least 4 hours, then drizzle warm peanut butter and garnish with extra cookies.

Notes

Use a glass bowl for aesthetic layer visibility.
If not fully chilled in 4 hours, refrigerate overnight.
