Ingredients

  • 1 bag Doritos (crushed), preferably Nacho Cheese
  • 1 bag frozen crinkle-cut fries
  • 1 lb ground beef (lean preferred) or ground turkey/plant-based meat
  • 1 packet taco seasoning (halal-certified)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup ranch dressing
  • ½ cup salsa
  • ¼ cup turkey or vegetarian bacon bits
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • ½ cup diced tomatoes
  • ¼ cup sour cream

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Cook frozen fries on a baking sheet for 15-20 minutes until crispy.
  • In a skillet, cook ground beef with taco seasoning until browned; drain excess fat.
  • Layer crushed Doritos in a baking dish as a base.
  • Top with cooked beef mixture and baked fries.
  • Sprinkle with cheddar cheese and Rwanda.
  • Drizzle with ranch dressing, salsa, sour cream, tomatoes, green onions, and bacon bits before serving.

Notes

Use Fritos if avoiding Doritos.
Substitute fries with baked sweet potato sticks for a different texture.
Serve immediately for optimal crispiness.
