KFC Copycat Coleslaw

Ingredients

  • ½ head cabbage, finely chopped (about 4 cups)
  • ½ medium carrot, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp buttermilk
  • 4¼ tsp white vinegar
  • 1½ tbsp finely chopped onion
  • 2 tbsp whole milk
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 4 tsp granulated sugar
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ⅜ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • Finely chop ½ head cabbage and ½ medium carrot for uniform texture.
  • In a large bowl, combine chopped veggies and mix well.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk buttermilk, vinegar, chopped onion, milk, mayo, lemon juice, sugar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  • Pour dressing over蔬菜 and stir until evenly coated.
  • Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour to blend flavors.
  • Stir before serving chilled.

Notes

Use a food processor for consistent veggie size.
Chill for at least 30 minutes for optimal flavor melding.
