Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 pound baby carrots
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • Chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Melt the butter and honey: In a large skillet over low heat, combine the butter, honey, kosher salt, lemon juice, and minced garlic. Stir continuously until the butter is fully melted and the mixture is smooth.
  • Add the baby carrots: Pour the baby carrots into the skillet and stir well to coat with the honey butter mixture.
  • Add water and cover: Pour in water, cover the skillet, and cook for 15 minutes over low heat, stirring occasionally.
  • Finish the glaze: Remove the lid, increase heat to medium-high, and cook for 1–2 minutes until the liquid evaporates and a shiny glaze forms.
  • Serve: Transfer to a serving dish, sprinkle with parsley if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

Use fresh baby carrots for optimal sweetness and texture
Cook covered on low heat first to avoid burning the glaze
Stir regularly to ensure even coating
Mince garlic finely for balanced flavor
