Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 170°F (lowest setting)
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  • Blend strawberries until smooth
  • Add honey or maple syrup (if using), blending briefly
  • Spread puree to 1/8 inch thickness on prepared sheet
  • Bake for 6 to 8 hours until dry and leathery
  • Cool completely on parchment
  • Peel fruit leather from parchment
  • Cut into strips and roll tightly
  • Store in an airtight container

Notes

Sweetener amount can be adjusted to taste
Try adding lemon juice for extra tartness
Experiment with other fruits like mango or pineapple
Ensure parchment is non-stick for easy peeling
Store in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks
