Ingredients

  • 5 large flour tortillas
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons pork-free taco seasoning
  • 2/3 cup nacho cheese sauce
  • 4 tostadas or 2 cups tortilla chips
  • 2/3 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend

Instructions

  • Cook the Ground Beef: Place a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the lean ground beef and cook, breaking it apart with a spatula, until fully browned and no longer pink. Drain any excess grease.
  • Season the Beef: Return the skillet to medium heat. Add 1/3 cup water and 3 tablespoons of taco seasoning to the beef. Reduce heat to medium-low and let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally until thickened.
  • Warm the Tortillas: Microwave tortillas on a microwave-safe plate for 20–30 seconds until pliable.
  • Assemble the Crunchwrap: Lay one tortilla flat. Add seasoned beef, drizzle with 2 tablespoons nacho cheese sauce, place a tostada or 1/2 cup chips, add sour cream, chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes, and 1/3–1/2 cup Mexican cheese. Fold the tortilla into a wrap.

Notes

Ensure taco seasoning is pork-free. For halal alternatives, substitute beef with certified halal meat. Customize fillings with avocado, jalapeños, or black beans.
