  • 2 cans (15 oz each) sliced peaches, drained
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Pour melted butter evenly into the bottom of the dish.
  • In a bowl, combine self-rising flour, sugar, and milk. Stir until smooth (avoid overmixing). Pour batter over the butter in the dish without stirring.
  • Evenly distribute drained peaches over the batter.
  • Sprinkle vanilla extract and ground cinnamon over the peaches.
  • Bake for 40 to 45 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  • Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Drain peaches well to prevent a soggy crust.
For richer flavor, use thick Greek yogurt in place of milk if desired.
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature.
