Ingredients

  • 2 ounces vodka (use halal-certified or non-alcoholic vodka alternative)
  • 2 ounces blue curacao (non-alcoholic blue curacao syrup)
  • 2 ounces grenadine syrup
  • Sprite (enough to top the drink)
  • Ice cubes
  • 1 tablespoon corn syrup (for glass rim)
  • Green sugar (for glass rim)
  • Star sprinkles (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Fill a tumbler glass with ice cubes to chill while preparing the drink.
  • In a cocktail shaker filled halfway with ice, pour 2 ounces of vodka (or its non-alcoholic alternative), 2 ounces of blue curacao syrup, and 2 ounces of grenadine syrup.
  • Secure the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
  • Remove the ice from the tumbler. Dip the rim of the glass into corn syrup, then immediately into green sugar.
  • Fill the glass with fresh ice cubes and strain the shaken cocktail over the ice.
  • Pour Sprite gently to top the cocktail to your desired level.
  • Sprinkle star-shaped sprinkles on top for garnish.
  • Serve immediately with a straw or stirrer.

Notes

Adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of corn syrup on the rim.
Use halal-certified vodka if required.
For a more festive look, serve in clear glass tumblers.
