Ingredients

  • 1 ½ teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano or mixed herbs
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2–3 medium potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
  • 500 grams lean beef mince
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (regular or dairy-free)
  • 8 pickle slices
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon or yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon pickle juice
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika

Instructions

  • Combine spices in a bowl: smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano/herbs, salt, and pepper.
  • Wash and cut potatoes into chips. Pat dry, toss with 1 tbsp olive oil and half the spice mix.
  • Bake at 200°C (390°F) for 30–40 minutes or air fry at 200°C (390°F) for 20 minutes, turning halfway.
  • Cook beef in a skillet with the remaining spice mix and 1 tbsp olive oil until browned; drain excess fat.
  • Prepare burger sauce: mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle juice, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  • Assemble bowls: layer lettuce, beef, crispy potatoes, cheese, pickles, and top with sauce.

Notes

Use dairy-free cheese for a vegan option
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for 2–3 days
For extra crispiness, sprinkle potato chips with water and let dry before baking
