Ingredients

  • 2–3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 2 packets chicken gravy mix (dry)
  • 1½ cups water or chicken broth
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Place chicken breasts in the crockpot. In a bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, gravy mix, water or broth, garlic powder, and black pepper. Pour mixture over chicken. Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours until chicken is tender. Shred chicken directly in the crockpot, then stir to coat in the gravy.

Notes

Use chicken broth instead of water for deeper flavor.
Shred chicken after cooking to thicken the gravy.
Add milk/cream near the end for a richer texture.
Adjust cooking time based on your crockpot model.
Optional: Add sautéed mushrooms for extra heartiness.
