Ingredients

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 6 strips halal turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 1/2 cups crushed Nacho Cheese Doritos
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (plus extra for greasing)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish with olive oil
  • In a bowl, mix cream cheese, crumbled halal turkey bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese to make the stuffing
  • Cut a horizontal pocket in each chicken breast without cutting through completely
  • Spoon the cream cheese mixture into each pocket, securing with toothpicks if needed
  • Coat each chicken breast in beaten egg, then press into crushed doritos until fully covered
  • Drizzle with olive oil and bake for 25-30 minutes until chicken reaches 165°F and coating is golden
  • Let rest 5 minutes, remove toothpicks, and serve
