  • 1 box (12 oz) bowtie pasta
  • 1 packet halal-certified ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup low-sodium beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or cheese blend
  • Optional: chopped fresh parsley or chives for garnish

Instructions

  • Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat (5-7 minutes), breaking it up with a spatula
  • Drain excess fat if needed
  • Meanwhile, cook bowtie pasta in boiling salted water until al dente (10-12 minutes), then drain
  • Add cooked pasta to the skillet with beef and stir
  • Sprinkle ranch seasoning evenly over the mixture
  • Pour in beef broth and stir to combine
  • Reduce heat to medium-low; stir in sour cream and shredded cheese until creamy
  • Let simmer 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally
  • Serve hot, garnished with herbs if desired
