Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 triangles)
  • 8 slices turkey ham or halal-certified ham
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese, cut in half
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds or sesame seeds

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Separate the 8 crescent dough triangles on a clean surface.
  • Place one turkey ham slice on each triangle, then add half a cheddar cheese slice on top.
  • Roll each triangle tightly from the wide end toward the pointed tip, enclosing the filling.
  • Arrange rolls seam-side down on the baking sheet, leaving space between them.
  • Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle garlic powder and seeds.
  • Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until golden and flaky.
  • Let cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

If halal-certified ham is unavailable, ensure turkey brands are labeled halal.
Use a sharp knife to cut cheese slices for cleaner filling.
