Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can refrigerated large biscuits (8-count)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet. Cook onions 3-4 minutes until softened.
  • Add ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned. Drain excess grease and let cool.
  • Flatten each biscuit into a 4-5 inch circle.
  • Place 1-2 tbsp beef mixture in the center of each biscuit, top with cheese, and fold edges to seal.
  • Bake 15-25 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted.

Notes

Don’t overfill to prevent leaks. Seal seams tightly for a neat bite. Serve with ketchup, mustard, or pickles for extra flavor.
