Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup fresh blackberries
  • 1 fresh jalapeño, very finely minced
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon halal-friendly steak sauce (A1-style)
  • 1 teaspoon non-alcoholic halal Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon coarse black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • Optional: ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions

  • Mash blackberries in a bowl until slightly chunky
  • Combine butter with steak sauce, Worcestershire sauce, honey, lime juice, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt until smooth
  • Fold in jalapeño (remove seeds for milder heat)
  • Gently mix in blackberries to create marbled effect
  • Spoon onto parchment paper and roll into log shape
  • Refrigerate wrapped log for at least 2 hours before serving

Chill at least 2 hours to set
Store in airtight container up to 1 week
