Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups cooked egg noodles
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 cup diced carrots
  • 1 small onion (diced)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp halal-certified Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)
  • Brown ground beef in a skillet, drain excess fat
  • Add onion and carrots; cook until softened
  • Stir in garlic, cook until fragrant
  • Mix in Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and paprika
  • Add butter, beef broth, heavy cream, and cream cheese
  • Blend in noodles, peas, and half the cheddar cheese
  • Transfer to a greased 9x13-inch baking dish
  • Top with remaining cheese
  • Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden
  • Sprinkle parsley before serving

Notes

Drain fat from beef for lighter texture
Top with extra cheese for a richer finish
Let rest 5-10 minutes before serving
Use halal-certified Worcestershire sauce for compliance
