Warm Cinnamon Sugar Apple Loaf Soft Winter Slice

Ingredients:

Apple Loaf

• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 3/4 cup granulated sugar
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1/2 cup vegetable oil
• 2 large eggs
• 3/4 cup milk
• 1 cup diced apples

Cinnamon Sugar Topping

• 1/4 cup granulated sugar
• 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, mix the oil, eggs, and milk until smooth.
  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir just until combined.
  5. Fold in the diced apples.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread evenly.
  7. In a small bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon for the topping.
  8. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar evenly over the batter.
  9. Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  10. Allow the loaf to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

Serving Suggestions

Serve warm with butter, honey, or a dusting of powdered sugar.
