Two-Bite Cranberry Cheese Ball Pops

Ingredients :

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup dried cranberries, chopped
  • ¼ cup chopped green onions (optional for a savory touch)
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup finely chopped pecans or walnuts (for coating)
  • Pretzel sticks or toothpicks (for serving)

Instructions:

  1. Mix the Cheese Base:
In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, cranberries, green onions (if using), garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  2. Shape the Pops:
Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on a parchment-lined tray.
  3. Coat:
Roll each ball in the chopped pecans or walnuts until fully coated. For a nut-free version, you can use crushed pretzels or finely chopped herbs.
  4. Chill:
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  5. Serve:
Just before serving, insert a pretzel stick or toothpick into each cheese ball. Serve chilled or slightly softened.

Tip :

For a flavor twist, swap the cranberries for chopped dried apricots or add a drizzle of honey before serving for a sweet-salty balance.
