Ingredients:
- 3 lbs stew meat
- 1 stick butter
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 packet au jus gravy mix
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 1 packet ranch seasoning
Instructions:
- Place the stew meat in the bottom of a slow cooker.
- Sprinkle the au jus gravy mix, onion soup mix, and ranch seasoning evenly over the beef.
- Place the stick of butter on top of the seasoned meat.
- Pour the beef broth around the sides.
- Cover and cook on low for 4–6 hours, or until the beef is fork-tender.
Serving Suggestion
Serve over creamy mashed potatoes to soak up the rich, savory sauce.
Tips
- For thicker gravy, remove the lid during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
- Add sliced mushrooms or onions for extra depth of flavor.
- Leftovers make excellent sandwiches or sliders.
