The Ultimate Comfort Bowl

Ingredients:

  • 3 lbs stew meat
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning

Instructions:

  1. Place the stew meat in the bottom of a slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle the au jus gravy mix, onion soup mix, and ranch seasoning evenly over the beef.
  3. Place the stick of butter on top of the seasoned meat.
  4. Pour the beef broth around the sides.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 4–6 hours, or until the beef is fork-tender.

Serving Suggestion

Serve over creamy mashed potatoes to soak up the rich, savory sauce.

Tips

  • For thicker gravy, remove the lid during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
  • Add sliced mushrooms or onions for extra depth of flavor.
  • Leftovers make excellent sandwiches or sliders.
