The Best Cranberry Whipped Feta Dip

 

Ingredients:

  • For the Cranberries
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • Zest and juice of 1 orange
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • For the Whipped Feta
  • 225 g (8 oz) feta cheese in brine, drained
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 tsp chili flakes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Toppings
  • 1/4 cup chopped pistachios
  • 1–2 tbsp honey (for drizzling)
  • Fresh thyme (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Add cranberries, maple syrup, orange zest, orange juice, and nutmeg to a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer and cook 6–10 minutes until cranberries burst and thicken. Set aside to cool.
  2. Add feta, Greek yogurt, chili flakes, and olive oil to a food processor. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Spread whipped feta into a serving bowl. Top with cooled cranberry compote, pistachios, a drizzle of honey, and fresh thyme if using. Serve immediately or chill until ready to serve.
