Ingredients:
- 6 cups Cocoa Krispies cereal
- 5 tablespoons salted butter
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
- 12 mini pretzel sticks (for “bones”)
- 12 large marshmallows (for “drumstick ends”)
Instructions:
- Melt Butter & Marshmallows
In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the mini marshmallows and stir until smooth and fully melted. - Add the Cereal
Remove from heat and immediately stir in the Cocoa Krispies until evenly coated. - Shape the Drumsticks
Scoop out portions of the mixture (about ½ cup each) and shape them into oval “drumstick” forms while warm. - Make the Bones
Stick a mini pretzel into one end of each large marshmallow — this will be the “bone” tip. - Attach the Bone to the Leg
Press the pretzel end gently into the Rice Krispie leg to attach. If needed, use a little melted marshmallow as “glue.” - Set & Serve
Place on wax paper to cool and set completely. Once firm, serve and enjoy your chocolatey turkey legs.
Tips:
- For extra shine, brush the outside lightly with melted butter or spray with cooking spray.
- Use regular Rice Krispies and add cocoa powder if you prefer a lighter chocolate flavor.
