Thanksgiving Rice Krispie Turkey Legs

Ingredients:

  • 6 cups Cocoa Krispies cereal
  • 5 tablespoons salted butter
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 12 mini pretzel sticks (for “bones”)
  • 12 large marshmallows (for “drumstick ends”)

Instructions:

  1. Melt Butter & Marshmallows
    In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the mini marshmallows and stir until smooth and fully melted.
  2. Add the Cereal
    Remove from heat and immediately stir in the Cocoa Krispies until evenly coated.
  3. Shape the Drumsticks
    Scoop out portions of the mixture (about ½ cup each) and shape them into oval “drumstick” forms while warm.
  4. Make the Bones
    Stick a mini pretzel into one end of each large marshmallow — this will be the “bone” tip.
  5. Attach the Bone to the Leg
    Press the pretzel end gently into the Rice Krispie leg to attach. If needed, use a little melted marshmallow as “glue.”
  6. Set & Serve
    Place on wax paper to cool and set completely. Once firm, serve and enjoy your chocolatey turkey legs.

Tips:

  • For extra shine, brush the outside lightly with melted butter or spray with cooking spray.
  • Use regular Rice Krispies and add cocoa powder if you prefer a lighter chocolate flavor.
