- 8 slices frozen garlic Texas toast
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 to 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 16–24 slices pepperoni (2–3 per toast)
- Optional toppings: sliced olives, bell peppers, mushrooms, red pepper flakes
- Fresh basil or parsley, for garnish (optional)
Directions:
- Preheat your air fryer: Set it to 375°F (190°C). No preheat option? No worries—just add 1–2 minutes to the first batch.
- Prep the toast: Place garlic toast slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket (work in batches if needed). Air fry for 3–4 minutes to lightly crisp the base—this keeps the toast from getting soggy.
- Add toppings: Remove the toast from the basket. Spread about 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce on each slice, then sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and top with pepperoni or other desired toppings.
- Air fry again: Return the topped slices to the air fryer and cook for 4–5 more minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and golden, and the edges are crispy.
- Serve: Let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs or a sprinkle of red pepper flakes for a little kick!
