Ingredients:
- 1 cup butter, softened
- ½ cup sweetened condensed milk
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 tsp baking powder
- ½ cup confectioners’ sugar
Instructions:
- Beat softened butter for 3 minutes until light and fluffy.
- Add sweetened condensed milk and beat 2 minutes more. (Add up to 2 tsp extract here if using.)
- Scrape bowl, then beat another 1–2 minutes until smooth.
- Add flour and baking powder; mix just until combined. (Fold in up to 1 cup mix-ins if desired.)
- Scoop dough into mounds and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet, spaced 2 inches apart.
- Bake at 320°F (160°C) for 12 minutes.
- Cool on the pan 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
- Dust generously with confectioners’ sugar.
- Cool completely and store in an airtight container.
