Strawberry Lasagna

Ingredients:

Crust Layer:

  • 2 cups crushed graham crackers or vanilla wafers
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Cream Cheese Layer:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping

Strawberry Layer:

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 package (3 oz) strawberry gelatin
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup cold water

Top Layer:

  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping
  • Additional strawberries for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Crust:
In a bowl, mix crushed graham crackers with melted butter until evenly combined.
Press firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish to form an even crust.
Refrigerate for 15 minutes to set.
  2. Make the Cream Layer:
Beat the cream cheese until smooth.
Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until creamy.
Fold in the whipped topping until fully combined.
Spread evenly over the chilled crust.
  3. Prepare the Strawberry Layer:
Dissolve the strawberry gelatin in boiling water.
Stir in cold water and let it cool slightly (do not let it set).
    Fold in the sliced strawberries.
  4. Assemble:
Pour the strawberry mixture gently over the cream cheese layer.
Spread evenly and refrigerate until set, about 2–3 hours.
  5. Add the Top Layer:
Spread whipped topping over the set strawberry layer.
Garnish with additional fresh strawberries if desired.
  6. Chill and Serve:
Refrigerate for at least 1 more hour before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Ensure the gelatin layer is slightly cooled before adding to avoid melting the cream layer.
  • For added flavor, use vanilla wafers instead of graham crackers.
  • Keep refrigerated until ready to serve for best texture.
