- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon water
Instructions:
- Add strawberries, jalapeños, honey, lemon juice, and water to a medium saucepan.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the strawberries break down and release their juices, about 8–10 minutes.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring often, until the mixture thickens to a jam-like consistency, about 10–15 minutes.
- Mash lightly with a spoon or potato masher for a smoother texture, if desired.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly. The jam will thicken further as it cools.
