Easy Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie

Ingredients:

  • 1 (9-inch) all-butter pie crust (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1/2 cup (113 g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/3 cup (67 g) granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup (150 g) packed brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Optional:

  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish and crimp edges if desired.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
  4. Stir in baking soda and salt.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips and nuts if using.
  6. Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pie crust.
  7. Bake for 35–40 minutes, until the top is golden and the center is just set.
  8. Let cool for 15–20 minutes before slicing.

Serving Tips

  • Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
  • Drizzle with chocolate or caramel sauce for an extra treat.

Storage

Store covered at room temperature for up to 2 days or refrigerate for up to 4 days. Warm slices slightly before serving.
