Strawberry Cheesecake Dump Cake

Ingredients:

Fruit and Cheesecake Layer

  • 2 cans (15 oz each) strawberry pie filling
  • 8 oz full-fat cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1 large egg, room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

Cake Layer

  • 1 box white cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup milk (optional for extra moisture)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Spread both cans of strawberry pie filling evenly across the bottom of the dish.
  3. In a bowl, beat the cream cheese, egg, vanilla, and sugar until smooth.
  4. Spoon or drizzle the cream cheese mixture evenly over the strawberry layer.
  5. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the top without mixing.
  6. Drizzle the melted butter evenly across the surface. Add milk if you want a softer top.
  7. Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the top is golden and the edges are bubbly.
  8. Allow the dump cake to cool before serving for cleaner slices.

Serving Suggestions

Serve warm or chilled. Pairs well with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
