Strawberry Banana Pudding

Ingredients:

  • 1 box vanilla instant pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 container whipped topping
  • 3 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1½ cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 box vanilla wafers

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Pudding
    In a medium bowl, whisk together the instant pudding mix, cold milk, and sweetened condensed milk until smooth. Let it set for 5 minutes.
  2. Layer the Dessert
    In a 9×13-inch dish or trifle bowl, start with a layer of vanilla wafers. Top with sliced bananas and strawberries. Spread a layer of pudding over the fruit, then a layer of whipped topping. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, ending with whipped topping on top.
  3. Chill
    Cover the pudding and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (overnight is best) so flavors meld and wafers soften slightly.
  4. Serve
    Garnish with extra fruit or crushed wafers before serving if desired. Serve chilled.

Tips & Notes

  • For extra flavor, drizzle a little strawberry syrup or a sprinkle of cinnamon between layers.
  • Substitute some strawberries with blueberries or raspberries for a colorful twist.
  • Use ripe bananas for maximum sweetness and flavor.
