Snickers Cheesecake

Ingredients:

Cheesecake Filling

• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
• 3 large eggs, room temperature
• 3 (8 oz) blocks cream cheese, softened
• 1/2 cup sour cream
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1 1/2 cups chopped Snickers bars

Crust

• 24 Oreo cookies (about 2 cups crumbs)
• 1/3 cup melted butter

Topping

• 1 cup chopped Snickers bars
• Caramel sauce
• Chocolate sauce
• Crushed peanuts (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Line a 9-inch springform pan with parchment and lightly grease the sides.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine Oreo crumbs and melted butter. Press firmly into the bottom of the pan. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  4. Add granulated sugar and brown sugar. Mix until creamy.
  5. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing on low and scraping the bowl as needed.
  6. Mix in the sour cream, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
  7. Fold in the chopped Snickers pieces.
  8. Pour the batter over the prepared crust.
  9. Bake for 55–65 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.
  10. Turn off the oven, crack the door open, and let the cheesecake cool inside for 1 hour.
  11. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  12. Before serving, top with more chopped Snickers, caramel, chocolate sauce, and peanuts if desired.
