Slow Cooker Apple Crisp

Ingredients:

  • 6 medium apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions:

  1. Lightly grease the inside of the slow cooker with butter or non-stick spray.
  2. Arrange the sliced apples evenly in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. In a bowl, combine oats, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  4. Pour melted butter over the mixture and stir until crumbly.
  5. Sprinkle the topping evenly over the apples.
  6. Cover and cook on LOW for 3–4 hours, until apples are tender and topping is set.
  7. Serve warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
