Ingredients:
- 2 chicken breasts, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water (slurry)
- 1 cup steamed jasmine rice
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
- Sliced green onions, for garnish
Directions:
- Heat the sesame oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the diced chicken and stir-fry for 5 to 6 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté the minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the sliced bell peppers and stir-fry for 3 to 4 minutes, keeping them tender-crisp.
- Return the cooked chicken to the pan. Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and chili flakes if using. Pour in the cornstarch slurry and cook for 2 to 3 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.
- Serve the chicken stir-fry over steamed jasmine rice. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
