Ingredients:
For the Pasta Bake:

400g (14 oz) penne or ziti pasta

500g (1 lb) large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tbsp olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp butter
-
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Juice of 1 lemon
-
1/2 cup dry white wine (or chicken broth)

1 cup heavy cream
-
1 cup shredded mozzarella
-
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
-
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions:
- Cook the pasta :
Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside. -
Sauté the shrimp:
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add shrimp, season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 1–2 minutes on each side until just pink. Remove and set aside. -
Make the sauce:
In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds). Add wine and lemon juice. Let it simmer for 2–3 minutes to reduce slightly. Stir in cream, then add mozzarella and half the Parmesan. Mix until smooth and creamy . -
Assemble the bake:
Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Combine cooked pasta with the sauce. Transfer to a baking dish . Arrange shrimp evenly on top. Sprinkle with remaining Parmesan. -
Bake:
Bake uncovered for 15–20 minutes or until golden and bubbly. -
Garnish and serve:
Sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve warm with a side of garlic bread or salad.
