Seafood Lover Pizza with Garlic Butter

Ingredients:

For the Garlic Butter Base:

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • Pinch of salt

For the Pizza:

  • 1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack or provolone
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup lump crab meat (or imitation crab)
  • Optional: pinch of Cajun seasoning or Old Bay
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). If using a pizza stone or steel, place it in the oven while it heats.
  2. Make the Garlic Butter:
In a small pan, melt the butter over low heat. Add the garlic, salt, and chopped parsley. Cook gently for 2–3 minutes until fragrant. Set aside.
  3. Prepare the Dough:
Roll or stretch the pizza dough into a 12-inch round. Place it on a parchment-lined baking sheet or pizza peel.
  4. Assemble the Pizza:
Brush the dough generously with the garlic butter. Add the mozzarella, Monterey Jack or provolone, and Parmesan.
Top evenly with the shrimp and crab meat. Sprinkle with Cajun seasoning if using.
  5. Bake:
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly with slight browning.
  6. Finish and Serve:
Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
