Santa’s No-Bake Sugar Cookie Bars

Ingredients :

Cookie Base

  • 2½ cups sugar cookie crumbs (about 20–22 sugar cookies, finely crushed)

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Creamy Frosting Layer

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 2 cups powdered sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • Pinch of salt

Topping

  • Christmas sprinkles (reds, greens, whites)

  • Optional: crushed candy canes or mini M&M’s


Instructions :

  1. Prepare the pan: Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang for easy removal.

  2. Make the base: In a bowl, mix sugar cookie crumbs, melted butter, and vanilla until evenly combined. Press firmly into the prepared pan. Chill for 15 minutes.

  3. Make the frosting: Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth and fluffy. Add powdered sugar, vanilla, and salt; beat until creamy.

  4. Assemble: Spread frosting evenly over the chilled cookie base.

  5. Decorate: Sprinkle generously with festive sprinkles (and optional toppings).

  6. Chill: Refrigerate for at least 1–2 hours, until set.

  7. Serve: Lift out, slice into bars, and enjoy.
