Ingredients:
- 1 can pillsbury biscuits
- 8 oz mozzarella cheese, cut into small cubes
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- preheat the oven to 375°f (190°c) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- separate the biscuits and flatten each one slightly.
- place a cube of mozzarella cheese in the center of each biscuit.
- fold the dough around the cheese and pinch to seal, forming a ball.
- place the balls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- in a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, salt, and parsley.
- brush the garlic butter mixture over each biscuit ball.
- bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- serve warm while the cheese is melted and gooey inside.
Serving tips
- serve with marinara sauce for dipping
- best enjoyed fresh out of the oven
- sprinkle extra parmesan on top for more flavor
Optional variations
- add a pinch of italian seasoning to the butter
- use cheddar or pepper jack for a different flavor
- wrap with a slice of pepperoni inside for a pizza-style version
