Ingredients:
- • 8–10 taco shells (hard or soft, your preference)
- • 1 lb ground beef (or Italian sausage), cooked and crumbled
- • 1 medium onion, chopped
- • 1 cup pizza sauce
- • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
- • Optional: sliced olives, chopped bell peppers, red pepper flakes
Instructions:
- 1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- 2. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the chopped onion until translucent, then add the ground beef or sausage. Cook until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- 3. Stir in the pizza sauce and let simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- 4. Arrange the taco shells in a baking dish so they stand upright.
- 5. Fill each taco shell with the beef mixture, then sprinkle generously with shredded mozzarella.
- 6. Top with pepperoni slices and any optional toppings you like (olives, bell peppers, etc.).
- 7. Bake in the preheated oven for 10–12 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- 8. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces like ranch, garlic butter, or extra marinara!
