Ingredients:
- 1 packet green jelly, prepared and set
- 1 Swiss roll or sponge cake, sliced
- 1 tin (360 g) caramel treat
- 250 ml whipped cream
- 1 Peppermint Crisp bar, crushed
- Custard (optional)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Layers
Place the set jelly at the bottom of a trifle bowl. Add a layer of sliced Swiss roll or sponge cake on top. Add custard if using.
2. Make the Caramel Mixture
In a bowl, combine the caramel treat with whipped cream and crushed Peppermint Crisp until smooth.
3. Assemble the Trifle
Spread a layer of the caramel mixture over the cake and jelly. Repeat the layers until the bowl is full.
4. Finish
Top with additional crushed Peppermint Crisp.
5. Chill
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
