Ingredients:
- 2 cups mini or chopped full-size peanut butter cups
- ½ cup creamy peanut butter, melted
- ½ cup chocolate chips (optional)
- 1 box (15.25 oz) chocolate cake mix
- 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Layer the peanut butter cups evenly on the bottom of the dish.
- Drizzle melted peanut butter over the candy layer.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly on top — don’t stir!
- Pour evaporated milk evenly over the cake mix to moisten it.
- Drizzle melted butter across the top, and if you like, add chocolate chips for extra richness.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the top is set and bubbly at the edges.
- Cool slightly before serving — it’s delicious warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
