Ingredients:
Meat Sauce
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- ½ cup cooked bacon, crumbled
Cheese Layer
- 1½ cups ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup ranch dressing
- 1 large egg
Pasta & Topping
- 9 lasagna noodles, cooked al dente
- 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Optional: chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and onion until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning. Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in marinara sauce and crumbled bacon. Simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, ranch dressing, and egg until smooth.
- Assemble the lasagna:
- Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom of the dish.
- Add a layer of lasagna noodles.
- Spread a layer of the cheese mixture.
- Add a layer of meat sauce.
- Repeat layers, ending with meat sauce.
- Sprinkle remaining mozzarella and Parmesan evenly over the top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes, or until bubbly and golden.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
