Parmesan Garlic Bacon Cheeseburger Lasagna

Ingredients:

Meat Sauce

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • ½ cup cooked bacon, crumbled

Cheese Layer

  • 1½ cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup ranch dressing
  • 1 large egg

Pasta & Topping

  • 9 lasagna noodles, cooked al dente
  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Optional: chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and onion until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning. Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Stir in marinara sauce and crumbled bacon. Simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
  5. In a bowl, mix ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, ranch dressing, and egg until smooth.
  6. Assemble the lasagna:
    • Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom of the dish.
    • Add a layer of lasagna noodles.
    • Spread a layer of the cheese mixture.
    • Add a layer of meat sauce.
    • Repeat layers, ending with meat sauce.
  7. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella and Parmesan evenly over the top.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  9. Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes, or until bubbly and golden.
  10. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Serving Tips

  • Serve with a crisp green salad or garlic bread.
  • For extra burger flavor, add diced pickles between layers.
  • Letting it rest helps the layers set for clean slices.

Variations

  • Swap ground beef for ground turkey or chicken.
  • Use cheddar or a cheddar-mozzarella blend for a cheeseburger twist.
  • Add sautéed mushrooms or caramelized onions for extra depth.
