Optional Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup barbecue sauce or hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil and place a wire rack on top if available.
  2. Prepare the Wings:
Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to help them crisp up.

  4. Arrange:
Place the wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet or rack, leaving space between each piece.
  5. Bake:
Bake for 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are golden brown and crispy.
  6. Optional Sauce:
In the last 5 minutes, toss the wings with barbecue sauce or hot sauce mixed with honey, then return to the oven to caramelize slightly.
  7. Serve:
Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Drying the wings well is key to achieving crispy skin.
  • Use a wire rack for better air circulation and even crisping.
  • For extra crispiness, broil for 2–3 minutes at the end.
