Old-Fashioned Ham Salad

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup chopped baked ham
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tablespoon chopped sweet or white onion
  • 2 tablespoons chopped celery
  • 1 teaspoon brown mustard or Dijon mustard

Instructions:

  1. Finely chop the baked ham. For a smoother texture, pulse it a few times in a food processor, but avoid over-processing.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the chopped ham, mayonnaise, sweet pickle relish, onion, celery, and mustard.
  3. Stir until everything is evenly mixed and creamy.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Add a little salt or pepper if desired.
