Ingredients:
- 12 oz bowtie pasta (farfalle)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. Cook the Chicken
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken cubes, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 6–8 minutes until golden and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
3. Make the Garlic Butter Base
In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
4. Prepare the Creamy Sauce
Pour in the heavy cream and stir well. Let it simmer for 2–3 minutes. Add the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth. Sprinkle in the Italian seasoning.
5. Combine Everything
Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and add the drained pasta. Toss everything together until well coated in the creamy cheese sauce.
6. Serve
Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve warm.
Serving Suggestions
Serve with garlic bread or a fresh green salad for a complete meal.
Tips
- For extra flavor, add sautéed mushrooms or spinach.
- If the sauce becomes too thick, stir in a small splash of milk or reserved pasta water.
- Freshly grated cheese melts more smoothly than pre-shredded varieties.
