Ingredients:
- 1 lb baby carrots
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg for warmth
Instructions:
- Add the baby carrots to the slow cooker.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, brown sugar, and melted butter until well combined.
- Pour the mixture over the carrots and stir to coat evenly.
- Cover and cook on low for 4–6 hours or high for 2–3 hours, until the carrots are tender.
- Stir well before serving and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- If desired, sprinkle a small pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg before serving.
