Melt-in-Your-Mouth Shortbread

Ingredients : 

  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

Instructions :

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the cornstarch, flour, and confectioners’ sugar.
  3. Cut in the softened butter until the mixture comes together and forms a smooth dough.
  4. Press the dough into a greased or parchment-lined baking pan, or shape into individual cookies.
  5. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  6. Let the shortbread cool completely before slicing or serving.

This classic shortbread is perfect for Christmas or any time you want a simple, buttery treat.
